14 Nights Trip To Thailand Cambodia and Vietnam
In Thailand you can discover how the Grand Palace and the temples effortlessly entwine with the frenetic streets. Visit Bangkok and be swept along in the crowds and weave through traffic in a tuk tuk before venturing to Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha which is regarded as the most important Buddhist Temple in Thailand.
Located in the historic centre of Bangkok, within the grounds of the Grand Palace, it enshrines Phra Kaew Morakot (the Emerald Buddha), the highly revered Buddha image meticulously carved from a single block of jade. End this thrilling adventure by crossing over the waters of the Chao Phraya River where in 1782 King Rama I built some of the world’s most beautiful temples with the canals earning Bangkok its nickname, “Venice of the East”.
During this fantastic trip, undergo an exhilarating renovation of the senses. Venture into the jungle’s vines and creepers towards Angkor Wat, the 12th century temple and shrine of Khmer art and architecture, a Cambodian mascot with its sculpted towers of lotus blossom and stately surroundings worshiped by Buddhists monks.
Next up is Vietnam with are breathtaking destinations of diverse delights. Travelers are gripped by the sights and sounds, bewitched by their geniality and divine cuisine, captivated by fast-moving cities like Ho Chi Minh, the Mecca in which Vietnam flourishes, and enlightened by the palaces, cathedrals and the thousands of stalagmites of Sung Sot cave.
Such a concoction of history, French colonial influences, and tales of past upheaval ensures a majestic holiday. This trip also includes an Overnight Cruise in the Halong bay, a UNESCO world heritage Site. Full Board and with a lot of Sights & activities along the way.

Food is another Bangkok highlight, from local dishes served at humble street stalls to haute cuisine at romantic rooftop restaurants.
OVERNIGHT IN BANGKOK
The Grand Palace was established at the same time as Bangkok in 1782, by the first king of the ruling Chakri dynasty. Each subsequent monarch has added their own contribution to the complex, so that it represents the full range of royal architecture of the Rattanakosin (Bangkok) period. Some of the buildings represent traditional Thai themes, whilst others have distinct European features. Within the palace grounds one can find the temple commonly called Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the small but holy figure of the Emerald Buddha (actually fashioned from a type of jadeite). The figure was discovered in a Chiang Rai temple in 1436 and has travelled since to Lampang, Chiang Mai, Luang Prabang and Vientiane. The tour concludes with a visit to a jewellery retailer.
OVERNIGHT IN BANGKOK
Kanchanaburi Province, one of the largest and hottest of all Thai provinces, lying to the west of Bangkok and adjacent to Myanmar separated mostly by a mountainous border broken by the Three Pagodas Pass. Kanchanaburi sits on the banks of the Kwae Yai and Kwae Noi rivers, surrounded by limestone outcrops and fields of sugar cane. One less pleasant aspect of its history was the prisoner of war camp during the Second World War, when this area was the site of a railway line intended to stretch throughout British Burma to India.
Visit the Jeath war museum, which is housed in the same sort of huts the POW's used and is filled with exhibits telling their story. Visit the War Cemetery as well as the Bridge on the River Kwai, restored after the war and still carries the railway today.Take a ride along a pleasant section of the unpleasantly named Death Railway.
OVERNIGHT IN BANGKOK
You will be received with a warm welcome at Siem Reap International airport and transferred to the hotel. The evening is free for you to relax at the hotel. In case you wish to explore the city, you can choose to visit Pub Street which is famous for its quality yet economical restaurants and bars. Enjoy Khmer dinner on the day of arrival.
OVERNIGHT IN SIEM REAP
After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, you’ll enjoy a full-day tour of the Angkor complex. The most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor is Angkor Wats. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. You must not miss the antique capital of Angkor Thom.
With sites like the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk; the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara; the Phimeanakas; the Royal Enclosure; the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King; Angkor Thom has so much to offer. Other sites that deserve a mention are: Prasat Kravan, also known as ‘The Royal Baths’, the site was once used for ritual bathing; Banteay Kdei, surrounded by 4 concentric walls; Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool; Preah Khan temple, built by the King Jayavarman VII.
OVERNIGHT IN SIEM REAP
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your day will be at leisure or you may head out to enjoy an optional boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake. This beautiful fresh-water lake is the largest in South-east Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. Built on the lake, is a wondrous ‘floating village’ with floating schools, floating police station, et al. The ‘village’ moves from place to place following water levels and current.
OVERNIGHT IN SIEM REAP
After breakfast get ready for a coach journey from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. On arrival, you will meet one of our representative and transferred to your hotel in Phnom Penh. Continue your journey in the Pearl of the Orient, Phnom Penh, visiting by yourself the dazzling white and gold complex of the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda.
Feel free to visit the Genocide Museum or venture to the former Tuol Svay Prey High School, which the Khmer Rouge set up as prison in May 1976, to detain those accused of opposing the Pol Pot regime. Be prepared to be shaken by this moving reminder of the genocide that occurred during Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge regime.

Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, you are transferred to the hotel. Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a centre of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. As opposed to its northern counterpart, this metropolis is filled with automobiles, numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafes.
OVERNIGHT IN HO CHI MINH CITY
The plan is to devote half of today to exploring captivating Ho Chi Minh City. We pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy on our way to the Reunification Palace. This famous edifice was a former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975. We also visit some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. Post this, we head to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum. We conclude our sightseeing session with a walk around the retail Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale!
In the afternoon, we travel about 30 km North-West of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi town. Cu Chi tunnels were used as the base from which the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968. The incredible underground network in Cu Chi stretched over 200 kilometres and became legendary during the American war. The extensive tunnels have been specially constructed with living areas, weapon factories, filed hospitals, command centres, plus accommodation. We visit an exposition hall and a widened section of the tunnels to get a feel of the underground life. There are also possibilities to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range.

Sorry this has taken so long but our feet haven’t touched the ground since our return from Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
We just wanted to send you a huge thank you for an amazing trip, every port of call went without a hitch, even when we were delayed on New Years Eve the agent was there to pick us up. Every pick up and drop off was excellent, the guides were brilliant, informative, fun and thoroughly good at their jobs. The hotels were as it says ‘3*’, but good quality 3*, not opulent but we loved the fact that we actually felt part of the culture with their situation and décor, food was excellent at all the venues and all were spotlessly clean.
One only slight downside was Halong Bay, the boat is very faded and jaded a bit like the place itself, don’t get us wrong we wouldn’t have missed it for the world but perhaps a better boat would be advisable. It also all felt a bit rushed, no time to actually sit and enjoy the bay itself.
So well done and will definitely be back to you when we plan our next adventure.
Fantastic holiday
Booked a 15 night trip to Bangkok, Cambodia and Vietnam. Was a little bit dubious as not heard of them before but have been very impressed. Everything flowed with no hiccups. Communication was excellent either by telephone or email. All connecting transfers and flights were well organised. Overall nothing but praise for them and would definitely book through them again.
Travel to Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam 19th September
We would just like to say a very big (belated) thank you for the wonderful holiday we had through your company. We were a bit dubious as we had never heard of your company before and the price was very good for what was included, so we were unsure as to what to expect.
We were absolutely delighted with the organisation as we were met at each stage of our journey by a driver and we were always advised the day before what time we were being collected. All of the taxi drivers were polite and courteous.
The same applied for all the excursions we went on, we were notified the day before regarding times what time we were being collected. The excursions were well organised and we were amazed to have our own personal guides and drivers. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and quite lovely people who not only told us about the excursions we were on, but general information about life in their countries. It made us feel that we could ask the guides anything and not feel that we were asking questions that other people wouldn’t want to hear.
Each excursion ran like clockwork and we were very impressed that the guides ran the day to suit us and that we never had to queue very long to get in anywhere. The excursions were excellent and we saw all that we had been promised. We even had a surprise massage at Hoi An which was a bonus to our trip. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that we weren’t able to travel by boat from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh but that was due to the water levels and we had been informed before our trip. 2 days on a coach was a different experience!
The hotels were all of a very good quality – with the Well Hotel in Bangkok and the Little Beach at Hoi An being exceptional hotels. The standards of the breakfast were mostly excellent -again the Little Beach at Hoi An and the May de Ville in the Old Quarter Hanoi providing outstanding breakfasts.
We were very impressed that once we had given our details on WhatsApp to a representative when we were unsure of some flight details, that they kept in contact us throughout the time in Vietnam and even managed to rearrange a Water Puppet show excursion in Hanoi for us – due to all entertainment being cancelled for a state funeral on our original date. They acted really fast and got us in before the entertainment ban came into force.
Although tiring, we had a fantastic time, met some wonderful people, saw some wonderful sights and made some great memories.
Thank you
